Thousand Word Project was started as a way to give back to the Wounded Warrior / Disabled Veteran community. The old saying is :a picture is worth a thousand words." Well, we can't say THANK YOU enough times to our men and women in uniform; including our emergency workers.
As a full time caregiver to a retired disabled veteran, I understand that many families are busy with life and having family portraits are the last thing on their minds. So this is a way for me to give back to the community that helped my family when my family was going through combat injuries.
One on one session private with Santa in a totally live interactive experience. This isn't a traditional
photography session that has standard poses, but a live photojournalist documentation of the
family's interaction with Santa. We have over 15+ different interactive triggers that Santa will
naturally flow through depending on the age and cooperation of the participants. Santa will read,
sing, place candy canes and other decorations on the tree, and a whole lot more. While this is all
happening we will be capturing every moment. If there is time at the end we can do the old school
staged sit in Santa's lap photo, but this is not the focus on what the Santa Experience is all about.
Its more than just a photoshoot, it's a true experience that the family will talk about for years to
come.

So who can join TWP and have their portraits done? All of our veterans and their families. Also included are our men and women who serve on the front lines now in our hometowns. Police, fireman, and other emergency responders.
Our veterans serve this country in theater and continue to serve today at home. Police officers and other emergency workers keep us safe here in our homes on a daily basis and we owe all of them for serving us.
Where are these being held?
